IDEA 2019 to Open Its Doors Next Week

7000 participants expected at Miami Beach Convention Center

IDEA 2019, the largest nonwovens event of the year, will open its doors in Miami Beach, FL next week. The event, which is organized by INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, is expected to attract 7000 participants and 500 exhibitors. It will allow nonwovens industry professionals to connect with other industry innovative game-changers across the entire nonwovens and engineered fabrics supply chain.

The event will kick off Monday, March 25 with a welcome reception celebrating INDA’s 50th anniversary serving the nonwovens and engineered fabrics industry with a dinner buffet, live music and beverages. The conference and exhibition portion of the event will be held Tuesday, March 26 – Thursday, March 28.

The conference portion, held each morning, will feature industry experts presenting regional forecasts for the nonwoven industries in China, South America, Asia, North America, and Europe. Additionally, INDA has organized a training course segment of the event featuring tutorials on nonwovens, wet wipes, absorbents and filter media taught by industry experts.

On Wednesday morning, INDA will present the IDEA 2019 Achievement Awards recognizing innovation across five categories as well as the IDEA 2019 Achievement Lifetime Award honoring an individual who has given his or her best both personally and professionally to serve INDA and the industry. Additionally, the IDEA 2019 Entrepreneurial Award will go to the company with outstanding nonwovens achievements.
